How To Use (Simple)
- Attach the motionSCOUT securely to your belt or harness in a suitable position using the clip.
- Switch on the unit and ensure the start-up test period completes (the unit emits an alarm sound for a short test period and LEDs indicate the unit is on).
- Work as normal. The motion sensor recognises normal body movement.
- If you become motionless, the unit will enter pre-alarm and then escalate to full alarm if movement does not resume.
- For an emergency, press the alarm button to activate the alarm manually.
- To switch off (switch version): Press the ON/OFF and Alarm buttons together for at least 4 seconds.
- Cleaning: Wipe with a damp cloth using soap and water.
- Battery fitting (only in non-hazardous areas): Remove the battery cover, insert and connect the two AA batteries observing polarity, then refit and tighten the cover firmly.
