Polycotton or Cotton?

Polycotton material is a mixture of cotton and polyester fibers. The material combinations differ, with 65% cotton and 35% polyester being the most common combination. Polycotton material combines the strong points of both fibers. The garments are breathable, tear-resistant and are not easily damaged by friction. Polycotton is more expensive than pure polyester, but a lot more comfortable to wear. It is cheaper than pure cotton. The 65/35 combination is very popular for workwear, because it is affordable and durable. There is also a wide range of colours available.

If employees work indoors around machinery, the tear-resistance of poly cotton may be favorable. If the work is in an outdoor setting, particularly in hot climates, 100% cotton fabric could be the better choice. Before deciding, make sure to take all environmental factors into consideration

How do the jacket and trouser sizes work?

Sets are generally ordered by jacket size, with trousers typically two sizes smaller. Confirm the pairing for the exact product before paying. For separately sold garments, select each size individually.

Does reflective tape make a garment suitable for every hazard?

No. Check the exact garment’s stated specifications. Reflective, flame-resistant, chemical-protection and arc-rated features address different requirements and should not be treated as interchangeable.
