Description
Dromex® Storm Polar DB-STP-J and DB-STP-P, reflective storm and freezer wear thermal protective attire is a water-resistant jacket and pants suit, protecting the body and undergarments from the hazards of rain, water splashes and cold temperatures. Storm Polar jacket features aeration holes under the armpit allowing the garment to ‘breathe’ so that sweat vapour can escape. Storm Polar suit consists of reflective tape on arms, torso and legs for visibility when used in environments with low lighting.
The inner polyester quilted Taffeta with cotton lining keeps the user warm, whilst the outer PVC lining keeps the garment dry from liquid. The jacket design consists of a detachable hood with a drawstring, heavy duty full non-metal zip front with outer storm flap that has large brass press studs for ease of use when wearing gloves with an outer storm flap. The internal storm cuff prevents water from running down your sleeve. There are four utility pockets on the jacket with straight cut flaps, three of which is reinforced at the edges for durability. The shoulders consist of a passant (shoulder strap) with snap closing for use with epaulets. Storm Polar trousers are elasticated at the waist, with two side pockets. The ankle features press zip closures, with apron seal for improved comfortable fit and seal when worn with safety protective footwear such as gumboots.
All seams are fully taped.
Suitable for applications where there is exposure to rain and water, cold environments used in general mining, outdoor and contractor applications.
