The Bova Khumba Fire Retardant Harness & Lanyard system is designed for rope access, rescue operations, welding environments, and complex work-at-height applications where exposure to heat, sparks, and fall hazards is present. The system combines the Khumba full-body harness with the matching fire-retardant, shock-absorbing lanyard and is available in sizes S, M, L, XL and 2XL.

How to Use

  2. Select the correct harness size and adjust the shoulder, waist, back and leg straps.
  3. Fit the harness securely and verify all buckles are correctly fastened.
  4. Attach the lanyard to the approved harness attachment point.
  5. Connect to a suitable certified anchor point.
  6. Maintain continuous attachment when transitioning between anchor points using the double-leg lanyard.
  7. Remove the equipment from service immediately if it has been involved in a fall event.

⚠️ The Khumba Harness and Khumba Lanyard have a maximum weight threshold of 140kg and equipment involved in a fall must be removed from service and inspected according to site safety procedures.
