Description

The Dromex® Arc product range is designed to protect the user from the hazards of heat and to reduce total burn injury when working in environments exposed to electric arc hazards.
Dromex® Arc garments are manufactured with our exclusive Dromex® A.P.T™ (Arc Protective Technologies) fabric blend, which has been carefully developed by our team along with industry experts and professionals to ensure specialised Arc safety and global standards are met.
Our Dromex® A.P.T™ fabric and garments have been tested to NFPA, ASTM, EN, SABS and IEC standards.

This attire consists of the following:

Jacket features:

• Silver flame retardant reflective tape on sleeves for enhanced visibility.
• Front opening with concealed flame retardant brass zip and Velcro strips closure for ease of putting on and taking off.
• Seams with triple needle topstitching for added durability..
• Sleeves feature a flame retardant knitted cuff providing a great seal when used with gloves and prevents sleeves from rolling upwards.
• Right sleeve with Dromex® Arc heat transfer print.
• 1 Left chest pocket and mitred flap with concealed flame-retardant Velcro closure and Dromex Arc heat transfer print.
• ATPV 15 cal/cm embroidery on right hand side of chest for garment suitability identification.
• 2 Rounded waist pockets with concealed flame retardant Velcro strip closure.
• Side slits for better fit over waist.

Pants features:

• Silver flame retardant reflective tape on legs for enhanced visibility.
• Front opening with concealed flame retardant brass zip, Velcro strip and metal button closure for ease of putting on and taking off.
• An elasticated waist with 7 belt loops.
• Seams with triple needle topstitching for added durability.
• Front with side swing pockets.
• Back right hand side with rounded pocket and mitred flap with concealed flame retardant Velcro strip closure and Dromex Arc heat transfer print.
• ATPV 15 cal/cm embroidery at centre of left back panel for garment suitability identification.
• Ruler pocket on the right back leg.

Dromex® A.P.T™ fabrics are self-extinguishing, heat resistant and resistant to ignition. Dromex® Arc garments are sewn with flame retardant thread.

Style: 2-Piece collared long sleeve conti suit, with reflective strips, available in navy blue and orange.
Fabric composition: 88% Cotton 12% Nylon.
Mass: 305gsm.
Reflective: 50mm Silver flame retardant tape.
Additional: Arc clothing must be worn with additional and correctly selected Arc PPE to ensure complete protection against the hazards of Arc Flash.

Packaging

Jacket: DW-ARC15-J (Navy blue) and DW-ARC15-OR-J (Orange) are packed in a resealable polybag and sold individually.
Pants: DW-ARC15-P (Navy blue) and DW-ARC15-OR-P (Orange) are packed in a resealable polybag and sold individually.
