Leather welding shield is a piece of personal protection equipment designed to protect the user‘s head,
neck and shoulders during the performance of the processes described below. The user is responsible for
any damage resulting from non-intended use of the device.
The welding shield is a class 1 personal protection equipment item.
It was designed for use during the performance
of the following manual processes:
• gas welding;
• TIG welding;
• MIG welding (low current)
• micro plasma welding;
• Brazing
• Spot welding;
• MMA welding (rutile covered electrodes)
The product protects the user against short term contact with open flames and reduces spatial
propagation of flames (A1 + A2).
Use Guidlines
• The welding shield has Velcro fasteners When putting on, make sure it is snug with the body.
• Inspect for damage after each use.
• Do not use if the product is damaged.
• Machine washable: Do not wash.
• Make sure the shield fabric is not damaged during transport.
